Ashley Bang
Principal Consultant
Ashley brings over five years of experience in developing nature strategy for corporates and financial institutions, with a focus on applying spatial and statistical modelling techniques to address the nexus between climate, nature, and business. With a background in conservation ecology and environmental data science, Ashley has worked with a broad range of finance, government, and corporate stakeholders, delivering practical and science-based frameworks to inform nature and climate risk management strategies.
Ashley leads the technical design of nature finance offerings and manages TBC’s industry-academia partnership with the University of Oxford’s Nature Positive Hub. Her previous academic research in marine conservation and environmental policy has taken her from developing coral reef conservation strategies in Taiwan to identifying key habitats for juvenile salmon in Alaska. She holds a degree in Geology and Biology from Brown University and an MSc in Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment from the University of Oxford.
