Moving forward for business and nature: TBC releases its first Impact Report

30 April 2026

The Biodiversity Consultancy (TBC) has published its first Impact Report, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and demonstrating the real‑world outcomes of its advisory work.

Released alongside TBC’s refreshed visual identity, the report provides an overview of how we support organisations in responding to nature‑related risks and opportunities, and how our work contributes to positive outcomes for biodiversity. It reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, and demonstrating the real-world impact of its advisory work.

TBC delivers impact primarily through long‑term client partnerships, working with influential organisations across multiple sectors and commodities. These relationships enable the firm to support action across entire supply chains, generating insights and driving change that extend beyond any single client and strengthening its ability to influence systems‑level outcomes.

Commenting on the report, Tim Curtis, CEO of TBC, highlighted the importance of sustained collaboration: TBC’s long‑term client relationships—averaging more than three and a half years—are central to achieving lasting progress for nature. By working across supply chains and sectors, we help businesses make decisions that strengthen resilience while contributing to wider nature‑positive outcomes.

Over the past two financial years, alongside our work with corporate clients, TBC has also partnered with 41 industry associations, development banks, NGOs, and standard setters. These collaborations reinforce the firm’s role within the broader community, working to raise ambition, build capacity, and strengthen expectations for how business engages with nature.

The publication of the Impact Report coincides with an evolution of TBC’s visual identity, including the first update to the firm’s logo since its founding almost 20 years ago. The new identity reflects TBC’s belief that nature is now integral to business resilience and decision‑making, symbolising the growing interdependence between natural systems and economic performance. It also reinforces the firm’s purpose: where business and nature thrive together.

As TBC enters its next chapter, the firm looks forward to continuing its long‑term collaboration with clients, partners, and stakeholders—supporting organisations as they navigate a rapidly evolving nature agenda and work towards resilient, nature‑positive outcomes.
