After almost 20 years of leadership at the intersection of business and biodiversity, The Biodiversity Consultancy (TBC) has updated its visual identity, marking the first evolution of the firm’s logo.
The update reflects TBC’s recognition of how the global context for biodiversity and business has evolved. Biodiversity loss, nature-related risk, and regulatory expectations are now more visible, more interconnected, and more central to strategic decision-making. This evolution in the external landscape has shaped how organisations engage with nature and how TBC articulates its role in supporting them.
The refreshed logo has been designed as a visual expression of this understanding and TBC’s role in it. It symbolises the global biodiversity challenge, the interface between business and nature, and TBC’s role in helping organisations keep pace with this changing landscape by harnessing the outcomes from our scientific expertise to deliver credible, practical action for clients.
“Our work has always been about enabling organisations to engage meaningfully with biodiversity,” said Tim Curtis, CEO at The Biodiversity Consultancy. “What has changed is the prominence of nature-related issues in business decision-making and the pace of change. This evolution of our visual identity reflects that reality – and our commitment to meeting organisations where they are today, with the same scientific rigour and practical focus that has defined our work for almost two decades.”
The updated visual identity will roll out across TBC’s communications and digital platforms.
