Francesca draws on her technical expertise to support clients across a wide range of sectors in assessing biodiversity footprints and related risks throughout their operations and supply chains. She develops tailored analytical approaches to meet specific client needs and creates clear, compelling visualisations that communicate insights and enable informed decision making.
With strong analytical skills and a solid background in ecological data, Francesca delivers robust environmental assessments that translate complex information into actionable insights. She holds a PhD from ETH Zürich, where she developed models to quantify land-use impacts on biodiversity, advancing supply chain sustainability assessments. She also contributes to UNEP working groups focused on developing Life Cycle Assessment methodologies.
Francesca studied in Milan, earning a master’s in Environmental Science and a bachelor’s in Physics, complemented by international experiences in France and Denmark. Before completing her PhD, she worked in sustainability consulting and post-graduate research.
Based in Italy, Francesca is fluent in Italian and English, speaks intermediate French, and has a basic knowledge of German.
