She completed her integrated master’s in biology at the University of Oxford in 2023, where her research utilised satellite vessel tracking to estimate footprints of industrial fisheries and then applied this to ecological risk assessments of shark bycatch. Her speciality is sharks, with a focus on sharks in the deep sea. She has a strong media background on marine biology and conservation topics, creating video content for her social media following and conservation organisations, as well as producing, filming, editing, and conducting investigative interviews for documentary projects on shark fishing, whaling, and eco-tourism.
