Bensolo Ken

Conservationist and stakeholder engagement specialist, Bensolo Ken work over the past 10 years has focused on developing social and environmental safeguards for projects across Papua New Guinea.

ensolo has supported both donor and government partners including the U-REDD Programme, CCDA, PNG Forest Authority and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency to explore approaches to develop measuring, reporting and verification for PNG’s national REDD+ reporting framework. He has also supported biodiversity baseline studies as part of WCS’s REDD+ demonstration activity on Manus Island, Papua New Guinea.

Prior to joining The Biodiversity Consultancy, Ben recently completed a MPhil in Conservation Leadership from University of Cambridge, and worked as a Policy Officer for Wildlife Conservation Society Papua New Guinea Programme.
