Simon 10 years’ experience working in the private and NGO sectors specialising in conservation biology, ecology, protected area management and protected area creation.
He has worked with companies, communities, governments and a broad range of local and international stakeholders and has a good understanding of West African landscapes. More recently he has worked on wildlife trade, investigating and researching both legal and illegal trade, including global trade conventions such as CITES.
As part of his doctorate in primatology at the University of Manchester, Simon studied the ecology of lemurs in the south western area of Madagascar.
Simon is a native English speaker and also speaks French.
