Shana Westfall

As Practice Director, Shana is responsible for taking a lead on business development; expanding our portfolio of clients, managing key projects and client relationships, and work with our technical design experts to respond to market needs through innovative solutions for our clients.  

Leading a team combining deep experience on biodiversity, with internationally recognised expertise, Shana will mentor and support a high-performing group of biodiversity and nature specialists working across a range of clients.

Shana has over 20 years of experience in environmental and social consultancy, supplemented with several years of recent client-side experience where she led the management of environmental and social issues for a variety of power projects across Africa. Shana has led the Impact Assessment Technical Community for Europe, Middle East and Africa and project managed many large-scale impact assessments for clients across a multitude of sectors. Shana is experienced in managing multidisciplinary teams that included biodiversity specialists and have reviewed many a biodiversity deliverable.
