Brian is an agribusiness leader with 20+ years of global experience designing and scaling sustainable agriculture initiatives, with a focus on emerging markets. He helps agribusinesses build resilient, climate-smart and nature positive value chains—unlocking new value and mitigating risk from farm to factory. Brian’s work has mobilized $15M+ in private sector co-investment and delivered $50M+ in incremental partner sales across diverse markets and crops, including tomatoes, horticulture, dairy, pomme and stone fruits, olives, cereals, grains, and oilseeds. From leading high-performing international teams across 12 countries to partnering with growers, governments, and multinational companies, Brian brings a collaborative, mission-driven approach to transforming agricultural systems and supporting agribusiness partners achieve nature positive outcomes. He has designed and led initiatives reaching 30,000+ producers, consistently advancing firm and farm productivity, ESG goals, and commercial outcomes. Known for bridging technical expertise with business acumen, Brian brings a collaborative, metrics-driven approach to transforming agricultural value chains and ensuring sustainable, nature positive and commercial success.  

As the Business Director for Agricultural Supply Chains at The Biodiversity Consultancy, Brian is responsible for setting the direction of TBC's engagement with clients, for leading on shaping and expanding TBC's portfolio of market-leading clients, managing key project and client relationships and working with our technical design experts to respond to market needs through innovative solutions for corporate action on nature as relates to agricultural values chains. Brian has an MSc. in Environmental Economics from the University of London (SOAS) and a BA in Economics from the University of Virgina (USA). He is a native English speaker and fluent in Romanian.
