Suzanne is a conservation biologist with 16 years experience, eight of which are working with business and biodiversity. She has expertise in mining and hydro dam projects, particularly in West Africa, plus Oil and Gas Projects in terrestrial and marine environments.
She specialises in impact assessment, Critical Habitat assessment, biodiversity risk profiling, baseline survey design and management, and offset design and implementation. Suzanne is adept at both technical delivery and project management of the biodiversity-related risks and opportunities of large infrastructure projects.
Suzanne joined TBC from IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature), where she worked as a senior programme officer managing Red List assessments of extinction risk to marine species globally. She has worked for several international NGOs, including Conservation International and WWF.
She has both marine and terrestrial expertise, specialising in marine turtles. She has years of experience developing conservation programmes on the ground in the Caribbean and Africa, resolving conflicting demands of diverse stakeholder groups.
