Adrien is an accomplished, versatile environmental consultant, with a focus on biodiversity issues in development and industrial projects in francophone Africa and Latin America.
Adrien’s recent work history in multinational environmental consultancies (ERM and CH2M Hill) has equipped him with technical, strategic and project management expertise on a wide spectrum of biodiversity-related challenges. His recent projects have included biodiversity and ecosystem services assessments, environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) and due diligence (ESDD) for large private operators, development agencies and international lenders. He brings experience in various sectors (e.g., mining, oil and gas, power, infrastructures, tourism, banking sector) across several geographies, with a strong focus on African countries. He has conducted more than 15 field trips over the past three years, including biodiversity surveys, stakeholder engagement and site visits with lenders.
Adrien started his career with environmental NGOs (e.g. WWF) and academic institutions (e.g. University of Oxford), where he investigated the interface between society and nature, in Italy, Chile, Madagascar and Kenya.
Adrien enjoys working in multicultural and challenging environments and speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian.
