Ina Walter

Ina has more than 20 years of experience in managing climate and environmental sustainability in global organizations concentrating on nature-based solutions, biodiversity and farmer livelihoods.

Ina specializes in sustainable supply chain management, agriculture and agroforestry and has a deep knowledge of the coffee sector gained over more than 18 years working for green coffee trader Neumann and its associated Foundation Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung as well as Starbucks culminating in her role as Head of Global Agronomy at Starbucks Trading Company in Lausanne. Driven by her purpose to direct private financing to climate action, Ina has been working for Rabobank’s Carbon Market platform ACORN on providing access for smallholders to the Voluntary Carbon Market. Ina has strong technical knowledge of the concepts of offsetting, insetting, additionality, permanence and certification.

Originally from Germany Ina has lived and worked in Sub-Saharan Africa for 15 years. She holds a Masters in International Relations and an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience.

Ina is fluent in five languages and is a registered coach with the International Coach Federation.
